Our Mental Health & Family Support team at Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley can tell you first-hand that these aren't easy transitions! They are filled with so many unknowns and questions that at times you just want to say- thanks but no thanks! 

So, how do you make your transition experience better?  There is a simple answer to that question – the more you know and understand the process, the easier it will be.

As a start, with the help from former board member, Dr. Michael Volpe, who retired after 30 years with The School Association for Special Education in DuPage County (SASED), our team has put together a comprehensive overview of information for IEPs, 504 plans and resources.
