Home Visiting Support & Trainings

These Transformational grants to 15 social service not-for-profit organizations in DuPage County are intended to support evidence-based programs focused on long-term solutions to build capacity, improve efficiency and ensure efficacy of programs.

Easterseals’ focus with this grant is to provide mental health consultation, direct support, and professional development training, in collaboration with home visiting personnel, for children and families who receive home-based services for behavioral challenges and other developmental needs.  The grant period is October 1, 2024, through September 15, 2026. 

The priority areas of interest identified in an initial survey include: 

• Behavior
• Early Intervention
• Trauma
• Attachment
• Infant Massage
• Development
• Nutrition 

Professional development trainings will be available to all home visiting staff for education and collaboration. Previous trainings will be posted on this page, as available.
