Amy L. Vaughan, MS, OTR/L, C/NDT

Amy is an occupational therapist and early intervention evaluator/provider through the state of Illinois. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008 and has worked at Easterseals since 2011. Amy has been an evaluator on the Autism Diagnostic Clinic and completed weekly occupational therapy evaluations.  She is certified and trained in Neurodevelopmental Treatment and SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding. Other training areas include: ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation), SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) modules, FAN (Facilitating Attuned Interactions), Interactive Metronome and TAAP (Treadmill for students with Autism and Apraxia Protocol.)  Amy's treatment approach is child-led and play-based.  She values Easterseals’ family-centered approach to therapy and enjoys regularly collaborating with clients, families, and therapy teams to support ease and active participation during daily activities.
