Anayeli is a Spanish-English bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to bridging the gap between Spanish-speaking families and culturally and linguistically appropriate care. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Elmhurst University, where she also majored in Spanish, and her Master’s degree from Northwestern University.
Her clinical interests and experience include pediatric feeding disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Gestalt Language Processing (GLP), engagement, and early language development. Anayeli is Early Intervention (EI) certified and has completed continuing education in pediatric feeding, bilingual speech and language development, early language development, and supporting children who are hard of hearing.
Anayeli provides therapy in both traditional and aquatic settings, including at the Bloomingdale Lifetime location. She is passionate about child-led, play-based, and family-centered care, and values interdisciplinary collaboration to support language development in natural environments—including the pool. She is also a co-author of the article “Myths and Realities of Communication Disorders in Bilinguals” published in Psychology Today.
