Blake is a senior investment professional with over 25 years of experience in the asset management industry, including 20 years at William Blair Investment Management.
As William Blair’s director of sustainable investing, he was responsible for leading ESG integration and stewardship initiatives for the firm, including aligning global equity and fixed income strategies to regulatory frameworks in Europe, the UK and Japan. Blake was previously a global equity portfolio specialist and relationship manager at William Blair. In these roles he was responsible for portfolio analysis and senior level relations with institutional asset owners including corporate and public pension funds, healthcare organizations, endowments and foundations.
Blake earned a BA in economics from Michigan State University and MBA from DePaul University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a former board member of the CFA Society Chicago.
After experiencing the positive impact of Easterseals on his children, Blake joined the board of directors in 2018. His family enjoys participating in annual events including the Gala, Bike for the Kids and the Photography Exhibition.
