Derek Ladgenski is a private credit attorney with more than 25 years of experience representing and advising the most sophisticated private credit providers across the globe. He is longstanding partner and a member of the board of directors at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, a global law firm where he counsels lead arrangers, administrative agents and lenders on cash-flow acquisition and recapitalization financings, "take private" transactions and debt financings.
Derek earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1999 and received dual degrees in Finance and English from the University of Illinois.
Derek lives with his wife Sarah in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. They have four children and were introduced to Easterseals with their son Quinn, who was diagnosed with Mucolipidosis type IV (MLIV) - a rare, autosomal recessive, neurodegenerative lysosomal storage disorder caused by mutations in the MCOLN1 gene. Derek, Sarah, Quinn and Quinn’s sisters, Grace, Vivian and Emma are proud supporters of Easterseals and enjoy participating in the annual Gala, for which Sarah perennially serves on the Gala Committee.
