Dmitriy leads Chicago Atlantic’s investment strategy and execution across Central and Eastern Europe. He joined the firm in 2023 as a co‑founder of Chicago Atlantic’s impact investing platform in the region, helping to establish the firm’s local presence and investment framework.

Dmitriy has more than 20 years of experience across private equity and private credit, with deep expertise in complex, cross‑border transactions, structured financings, and sponsor‑backed investments. Prior to Chicago Atlantic, he spent his career advising investors, lenders, and management teams as an attorney and partner at several leading international law firms, where he was a trusted advisor on some of the most sophisticated private capital transactions. His background combines rigorous structuring with a pragmatic, investor‑driven approach to risk assessment, governance, and downside protection—particularly in emerging and transitional markets.
