Isabela (Bela) Petitgout, MSW, LSW

Isabela is a social worker with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from St. Mary’s College and works as a play-based mental health therapist supporting children in individual and group settings. Isabela believes that play is the language of children and uses play to help children express emotions, build coping skills, and develop healthy relationships. She prioritizes strong, trusting relationships with clients and families and is passionate about empowering children to build confidence and resilience. Isabela has experience in both school and hospital settings and is a member of the Easterseals Pediatric Bowel and Bladder Clinic, where she contributes to comprehensive, family-centered care. Isabela is also trained in the Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN) approach, which supports reflective, attuned communication with children and caregivers.
