Jennifer has been part of the Easterseals community since infancy, accompanying her older sister Stefanie — who began services at age two — to appointments. Her family’s commitment to the organization runs deep: her mother was an original founder of the annual gala, and her father previously served as a board member and Board President.
Jennifer later completed her college internship at the center and remained involved as a volunteer. As a mother, her connection became even more personal when two of her three children received services. Her daughter Josephine participated in physical therapy for torticollis, and her son James began services at eight weeks old and continued until graduating at age seven. He received physical, occupational, and speech therapy, along with specialized support across multiple departments.
While the journey was not always easy, Jennifer credits the compassion and expertise of the Easterseals team with helping her family navigate a challenging time. Today, James is a thriving 11-year-old.
Now, with her children in school full time, Jennifer remains deeply involved. She has served on the gala committee for more than 15 years, and her husband, Jon, is active on the Bike for the Kids committee. Easterseals continues to hold a special place in her heart, and she is proud to support its mission.
