This event helps Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley raise critical funds to enable children with developmental delays or disabilities the opportunity to take their first steps, speak their first words, and gain new levels of independence.
Timeline
- 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM: Registration/Check-In
- 9:00 AM: RUN/WALK START
- 9:15 AM - 10:45 AM: Live Entertainment from the Exceptions
- 11:00 AM: Jesse White Tumblers Performance
- 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Post-Party Food & Fun Raffles & Auction
After the 5K/1-Mile Walk, stay for the race after-party for fun for the whole family including:
- Live Music from Northern Trust Band, The Exceptions!
- Yard Games
- Photo Booth
- & More

PACKET PICK-UP TIME:
PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS can save time on race day by picking up your t-shirt, bib number (runners only) and goody bag items at:
Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley
830 S. Addison Ave. Villa Park
Thursday, October 2:
12:00 - 5:00 PM
Friday, October 3:
12:00 - 6:00 PM
You may also pick up packets for friends and family members with their permission.
PARKING:
Please allow extra time for parking and check-in before the race start. Parking will be available in the lot of Community Presbyterian Church (1111 E. Madison St, Lombard) and on the side streets unaffected by the race route.
A limited number of accessible parking spots will be available in the Easterseals parking lot.
RACE ROUTE:
Coming soon! Please familiarize yourself with the race route and pay attention to course marshals, police officers, street closures and signage.
WALK/FUN RUN PARTICIPANTS:
You will walk to the start of the Prairie Path, then turn around and return to the start/finish line.
RAIN OR SHINE:
Weather-related updates will be posted here. The race will continue in rain or shine.
In the event of cancellation due to severe weather, please consider your registration as a donation to Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley.
CAN MY DOG OR PET ATTEND THIS EVENT?
We ask that pets stay home for the comfort of all participants. Service animals are welcome. Thank you for your help!
